Kenya’s port town of Malindi is known for its Swahili-inspired architecture, laid-back atmosphere, fresh seafood, pristine beaches, and sunny weather. The town is located at the mouth of the Galana River, lying on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is 120 kilometres northeast of Mombasa. The city is popular among Italian tourists. Malindi is served with a domestic airport and a highway between Mombasa and Lamu.

Arabuko-Sokoke Forest Reserve harbors elephants and more than 200 species of birds. Near the forest, the Gede Ruins are the remains of an ancient Swahili town.
Day 1
Arrive Malindi
Upon arrival in Malindi, you will be met by a Ziara representative You will be transferred to your hotel in Malindi. Our representative/driver guide will help with check in procedures and share with you some tips on what you can do depending on the weather. Depending on your arrival time, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing in the room or by the pool side. Dinner and overnight at Driftwood Beach Club or Similar (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2
Day at Leisure in Malindi
After a sumptuous buffet breakfast, you will have a whole day at leisure on the coast. You can spend your time here doing as much or as little as you like.
Today you may like to experience a snorkeling trip in the coral gardens, water boats and snorkeling equipment are readily available for hire with our experienced guide in Malindi.
Children can play on the sandy beach on their own or with the parents. Football and volley ball games during the low tide is a good opportunity to interact with other visitors and have fun. Alternatively, you can bask in the hot sun after a swim in the swimming pool or a deep in the salty ocean waters. Dinner and overnight at Driftwood Beach Club (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 3
Day at Leisure in Malindi for optional activities
Sample the rich culture and heritage of the coastal communities by visiting the vasco Da Gama Pillar or the Sabaki Delta to enjoy spectacular views and the afternoon sunset Later on have a nice evening walk on the streets of Malindi to sample the diverse coastal culinary foods and have a little shopping spree as well as interacting with the locals. . Day 4
Departure
After breakfast, checkout at the hotel and transfer to the Mombasa airport.
